About the role
As a Branch Manager youll be at the heart of our retail network, and youll successfully lead your branch to ensure that every customer receives a great service and that colleagues are motivated and enabled to deliver this.
To do this youll provide effective leadership to a team of Customer Consultants. Youll support, coach and mentor them and help them with their learning and development so they can have quality conversations with customers.
From an operational perspective, youll ensure your branch works to high quality, risk, health, safety and security standards. Youll also optimise resources to match customer demand and make the best use of your teams time, delivering cost efficiencies wherever possible and ensure that you are playing your role in delivering the YBS strategic blueprint and retail strategy.
A key element of the role will be to enable colleagues and the branch to reach out into the community in which you operate.

About you
Youll be an accomplished leader, with experience in a management or team leader role in a customer facing environment. Thisll be coupled with;
- A proven record of delivering great customer service and outcomes
- The ability to lead, develop and motivate colleagues
- Great stakeholder management skills as youll be working with your Area Manager and a range of Head Office functions
- Effective communication and time management
