Salary: £45k+ per annum DOE
Job Overview
· Managing and overseeing the day-to-day activities within the designated branch, ensuring effective management, supervision and development of staff
· Maximising sales opportunities and streamlining branch activities to achieve peak performance levels at all times in line with achieving all targets and objectives set
Responsibilities and Duties
· Commercially manage all aspects of the designated branch on a day to day basis
· Coach and develop the team to deliver the highest standards of service
· Ensuring the safe and efficient management of daily operations
· Working with the Assistant Branch Manager, responsible for planning, supervising and creating and developing operational procedures
· Daily management of all branch operations, sales, customer service and operations
· Achievement of branch targets and objectives
· Pushing and driving sales
· Handling complaints from customers, suppliers and staff to overcome any reservations
· Regularly monitor the staff & branch performance
· Keeping all staff aware and online with company procedures including Health & Safety and environmental issues
Qualifications and Attributes
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Proven experience in managing an Electrical Wholesalers branch or similar sector preferrable
· Quickly able to build strong relationships with senior management, colleagues and customers
· Experienced in managing a medium to large size branch
· Experienced in leading and managing a team
· Experienced in identifying potential opportunities and maximising sales
· Proven experience in working to and achieving sales targets
· PC literate
· A self starter
· Experienced in customer service
Hours
· Week 1: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 17:15
· Week 2: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 17:15 and Saturday 08:00-12:00
