As the Chef for Aces Brunch, Sidcup, you will lead the way in creating an environment to be proud of- inspiring your team and utilising your passion for food to ensure operations run at the highest standard. You will work closely with the general managers to ensure the success of the restaurant. Being an enthusiastic team player, you won’t be afraid to get stuck in and ensure our customers have the best possible experience. You will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise from menu inspirations to dish creation- we are looking for someone with a keen interest in breakfast/brunch items. Being a great role model for the team and leading by example, you will be at the heart of everything we do.
Salary estimate: 27,000-30,000 p/a
Days of work will be Mondays- Fridays
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and restaurant
- Lead and aid the team at Aces
- Take the lead in menu planning and inspiration, with support from the Sous Chef
- Managing KPI’s and enabling business success
- Strong knowledge of the industry’s best practices, including food safety and hygiene
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum two years of relevant experience
- Awareness of manual handling techniques
- NVQ Level 3
- Health and Safety and food hygiene certificates
- Awareness of COSHH and chemical safety
