Our client is a leading housing organisation dedicated to providing comfortable and affordable homes for our residents. With a strong focus on Building Safety, we are committed to ensuring that our properties meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

As our Building Safety Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing and implementing our Building Safety strategies. Working closely with our team, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining robust Building Safety policies and procedures to comply with relevant regulations and legislation.
• Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with external partners, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and adherence to safety standards.
• Providing training and guidance to staff members on Building Safety protocols and best practises.
• Staying up to date with industry trends and developments to continuously improve our Building Safety practises.
• Investigating incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience in Building Safety management, preferably within the housing sector.
• NEBOSH Fire Safety or NEBOSH General Certificate
• In-depth knowledge of Building Safety regulations and legislation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address potential risks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• The ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A proactive and forward-thinking mindset to drive continuous improvement.
