Building Services Manager

Britain’s largest trade union is looking for a Building Services Manager to work at its London Headquarters on the Euston Road in Central London. You will be responsible for all MEP services in this award-winning BREAM rated excellent site which comprises of approximately 152,000 square foot modern office blocks and conference suites, a listed building, with Landlord responsibilities for 4 residential blocks and a single commercial unit.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of the outsourced M&E contract and all other contracted MEP services, monitoring energy consumption, identifying and solving building related issues.  The role will also identify and manage plant replacement and improvement projects.

To succeed, you will need significant relevant experience, appropriate qualifications and technical knowledge as well as strong communication and people skills.

This is an ‘in office’ post and hybrid working is not suitable. There will be the occasional requirement for out of hours work (the 3^rd Saturday of each month is a designated ‘engineering’ day), managing projects outside of usual office hours and emergencies.
