Hero Recruitment is currently recruiting professional, experienced PCV Drivers for various services, including Corporate Staff Shuttle / Private Hire and Rail Replacement service.
All drivers will be based at the clients' Harlow and Hoddesdon depots.
You will support their corporate clients, transporting their staff to and from their workplaces. The role includes a rota system with a mix of early, middle, and late shifts, with working weeks consisting of 3-4 working days per week and multiple concurrent days off.
Applicants who are selected for the job must be able to commute to the workplace by 4:00 a.m. The late shift may end close to midnight and includes shifts that are 6-12 hours long. In addition to the regular work schedule, additional overtime may be offered to operate other services provided by the company.
This service runs seven days a week, including weekends and Bank Holidays. It offers a guarantee of 35 hours per week and an hourly rate of 19 per hour.
You will need to:
- Have a valid UK PCV licence and a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence card (Driver CPC)
- A minimum of 1 year Bus or Coach driving experience
- Maximum 3 penalty points, and no drink driving offences in the last five years.
- Hold or be willing to apply for a DVLA Digital Tachograph driver's card.
- Live within a reasonable distance to the Harlow / Hoddesdon area to be able to get work quickly, no matter the time of day or night.
- To ensure the services are run as punctual as possible, reporting any delays or issues accordingly.
- Communicate with passengers and clients in a patient, informative manner.
- Willing to undertake and satisfy an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
- Provide valid Right to Work documents.
