Business Analyst is sought to join a well-established market leader. This a newly created position forming part of a wider transformation programme across the organisation, its an opportunity for an experienced business Analyst to take a holistic approach to their role, analysing the organisations existing systems and processes to identify opportunities to enhance their offering to their internal and external end users.
With advancements in AI, Automation and Cloud technologies the opportunity to enhance legacy platforms is vast, unlike many BA roles which are targeted towards a set project or outcome this role will see you as a voice for end users and the IT department with the C-Suite, raising opportunities to create revenue, drive down costs and enhance user experiences.
The Successful Applicant will be a highly visible member of the team and a ?face? for the department. The role will be working on a hybrid basis from the company's head office in Suffolk with an expectation of three days a week in the office. Some travel to alternative sites may on a very rare occasion be required.
What you'll do:
- Lead in-depth analyses of existing IT systems and processes, pinpointing bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT to gather requirements, define solutions, and ensure alignment.
- Design and implement innovative improvements, leveraging your deep understanding of business needs and best practices.
- Develop and document clear, concise requirements and user stories, ensuring clarity and buy-in.
- Champion continuous improvement methodologies, fostering a culture of optimization within the organization.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, identifying their potential impact on IT systems and processes.
What you bring:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an IT-focused environment.
- Proven track record of successfully analysing, designing, and implementing system and process improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in business analysis methodologies and tools, such as UML, BPMN, and user story mapping.
- In-depth understanding of IT systems and processes, with a passion for continuous improvement.
