Engage Talent Partners are working with our local award-winning client to source a Business Analyst within their IT department.
The job holder will play a crucial role in enhancing, configuring and developing various systems and applications within the business. You will identify new opportunities for new process improvements alongside with office staff, management and directors, with responsibilities including:
- Lead projects to enhance systems and applications for the business.
- Keep track of project schedules and update the IT Steering Group on progress.
- Manage a team member responsible for applications support/report writing.
- Create and oversee reports using PowerBI, SSRS, and Excel.
- Provide support for software systems to users within the business.
- Identify and promote the adoption of Microsoft 365 technologies among users.
- Assist the IT team in evaluating new software solutions proposed by the business.
- Develop solutions with a focus on Cybersecurity best practices and maintain information security.
- Identify key stakeholders, encourage their participation, and rationalize user contributions.
- Gather requirements and suggest improvements through various research sessions.
- Clearly communicate solution requirements to third-party developers when outsourcing is necessary.
- Recommend specific applications to address business problems or inefficiencies.
- Transfer ownership of implemented solutions to departments and users.
- Identify and reduce duplication and double handling of data.
- Coordinate and manage user acceptance testing phases.
- Develop user training programs for implementations and conduct training sessions.
- Manage test environments and oversee live deployments.
- Create and update supporting documentation.
- Cultivate positive working relationships both internally and externally.
Candidates must have good analytical and technical skills as well as a proven track record of implementing and streamlining process. You will have excellent communication skills and have a strong understanding of business processes as well as being able to handle complex issues and multiple projects at one time. Candidates are ideally to have an IT background however our client is open to those with relevant experience in managing change and processes.
Our client is seeking candidates who are dynamic and keen to learn new technologies to develop in an exciting environment. The salary range for this role £45k-£50k and you will also receive an attractive benefits package which includes a bonus scheme, discounts and employee assistance programme.
