Your new role
The Business Analyst role involves contributing to the establishment of an in-house centre of excellence, fostering business analysis skills throughout the organisation. As a vital part of the Change & Improvement team, you will collaborate with various business areas, investigating and documenting requirements to ensure successful project outcomes.
This position requires working closely with subject-matter experts, designing business processes, analysing the impact of change, and facilitating the implementation of change projects across the organisation.
- Manage department processes to align with company standards, ensuring consultation with relevant reviewers for process modifications.
- Collaborate extensively with business areas, stakeholders, external suppliers, and members of the Strategy & Change department at various levels.
- Assess the technical and business suitability of proposed requirements, providing recommendations to IT & Change boards, external developers, and team members.
- Validate proposed solutions with business representatives and the technical team, ensuring clarity, adherence to restrictions, and meeting user expectations.
What you\'ll need to succeed
- Possesses excellent expertise in process mapping using business process modelling (BPM), with a preference for strong Visio skills.
- Conducts thorough process mapping, gap analysis, options analysis, and business impact assessments.
- Proven experience of training others on business analysis techniques across organisations.
- Strong analytical skills, demonstrating the ability to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements.
- Collaborates effectively with colleagues, fostering positive and open working relationships.
- Exhibits outstanding verbal and written communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, interacting professionally with diverse stakeholders, senior managers, and subject-matter experts.
