Business Analyst Finance

Our client is looking for a Business Analyst Finance to join their Technology team. This role requires expertise in analysing, modelling and optimising business processes within the finance department of our Industrial / Manufacturing industry.

Description

• Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support.
• Improve financial status by analysing results, monitoring variances and identifying trends.
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimisation.
• Recommend actions by analysing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
• Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and teams.
• Coordinate with different department managers to review all departmental budgets.

Profile

A successful Business Analyst - Finance should have:

• A good understanding of financial processes including accounts receivable and cash application processes
• A good understanding of ERP systems including SAP ABAP
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
• Good business acumen.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
