Business Analyst, Clean Energy
A Japanese manufacturer is currently recruiting a Business Analyst to work within Clean Energy, Hydrogen/Ammonia and derivatives, Carbon recycling and Biomass Sectors in London.
In this role you will be responsible for Energy Policy Market Research/Analysis, Business Modelling and Feasibility Studies, Market Research, Establish and build network with senior stakeholders.
TYPE: Permanent, full-time
WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday (flexible working times can be discussed)
SALARY: £35-55K depending on experience +bonus
START: ASAP
LOCATION: Central London (Hybrid working)

Business Analyst, Clean Energy Main Responsibilities:
1) Energy Policy Market Research/Analysis
- Track and analyze strategic impacts to the company on European (and global) energy policies- with a particular focus on hydrogen and ammonia.
- Extract and synthesize key trends and influence internal stakeholders to stimulate commercial interest in the region.
2) Business Modelling and Feasibility Studies
- With a data driven approach, support and build the value proposition of the company for new project opportunities in the region.
3) Market Research
- Remain current on news and relevant market information- and share regularly with colleagues internally
- Run relevant ad-hoc market research for the energy sector as required by the company
4) Establish and build network with senior stakeholders
- Support the network building of key senior stakeholders in Europe in the clean energy sector
- Join industry events, networking opportunities as required by the company to achieve the above
5) Other Duties
- General Secretarial duties (hotel and travel arrangements, typing, photocopying, appointment scheduling etc.)
- Any other duties directed by management from time to time
- Travel as required
Business Analyst, Clean Energy Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ Years experience working in the energy sector
- Relevant degree, ideally with a background in business, economics, or technical field
- Excellent research and analytic skills, with knowledge in data modelling techniques
- Ability to turn complex concepts into simple language
- Fluent in written and oral English and great communicator
- Able to work autonomously, taking responsibility for achieving your business development targets
- Basic Japanese language and/or relevant cultural experience would be advantageous
- Business Development/Marketing/Technical experience would be advantageous
- Any additional European language would be advantageous
