We're seeking a future team member for the role of Business and Regulatory Manager to join our Markets Liquidity & Margin Services team. This role is located in London, UK.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Ensure the good running of the business in compliance to the regional risk and Regulatory framework ensuring there is clear, appropriate and evidenced apportionment of responsibilities amongst staff members.
- Ensure the business is compliant to regulatory developments and changes and contribute to the effective governance of the EMEA region.
- Is a champion for change to lead decisions and create processes with a sense of urgency.
- Support the team in meeting its regulatory obligations (e.g. MiFID, CASS/CAP, PSD, DGSD)
- Co-ordinate with business partners and global colleagues to ensure consistency across the bank
- Support the business in audit and compliance reviews
- Act as point of escalation for extremely difficult matters requiring negotiation
- Participates with other top managers in developing and establishing Line or Business or functional policies
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Strong team player, high energy and self-motivated
- Solution orientated
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound organizational skills and self-discipline in managing priorities
- Awareness of key regulations including MiFID, CASS/CAP rules
- Bachelor's degree
- Awareness of collateral, repo and liquidity products preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role is required
