An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the Business Change team within Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust’s Digital Transformation Services.
To provide expertise to implement clinical and corporate IT systems and make sure that the highest standards of clinical needs are met by the
information systems implemented within the Trust. The health care background will provide key skills in understanding Business Processes,
Project Management, Communication, Benefits Realisation and Change Management
To ensure effective communication takes place between Informatics, clinicians and non- clinicians within the Trust.
To document business process in association with clinicians and non-clinicians when implementing systems and facilitate change work for the
organisation as required
The post holder will work with the Digital Services Project Management team, Application Support and Developemtn teams along with Clinical teams across the Trust to support the deployment of Clinical Systems to support the Frontline Digitisation Programme.

Walsall Manor Hospital houses the full range of district general hospital services. Construction of the new integrated critical care unit was completed in2018, and a new state of the art Urgent and Emergency Care Department and an Acute Medical Assessment Unit opened 2023.

Provide specialist knowledge required to bridge the gap between clinical care, health professionals, IT and other external suppliers.
To ensure that patient care and service delivery is maintained by the engagement of clinical staff, senior
manager’s, commissioners, and end user involvement in shaping the development of future IT solution.
Delivery of the Communication Strategy, which includes the design, and delivery of facilitated
workshops to ensure that all key stakeholders are engage.
To utilise clinical skills, knowledge and experience to communicate complex ideas effectively to a range
of personnel across health, social care and external IT supplier.
Use PRINCE2 methodologies or equivalent to project manage, plan, co-ordinate, and monitor work
stream activities to deploy new IT system
To manage and co-ordinate service evaluations across the health economy which identifies current business processes, future state mapping, gap
analysis, and risk management to support service improvement and development.
