Business Data Analyst- Insurance

We are currently hiring for a Business Data Analyst with a strong data background to join one of our Insurance on a 6-month contract.

Inside IR35

Hybrid- 2 days a week onsite in the London office.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates to create product vision and alignment with strategic priorities with stakeholders. Contributes to the development of the portfolio vision. Communicates product and portfolio vision to their squad/team and other squads/teams outside their portfolio/functional area.
• Developing and achieving product level KPIs. Manages product(s) with a moderate degree of strategy, scope, and complexity.
• Own and maintain the product backlog and is accountable for its contents and prioritization. Accountable for clear, actionable user stories.
• Set priorities and actively participates in squad/team quarterly planning. Collaborate with more senior Product Owners to set priorities for portfolio quarterly planning.
• Set expectations with stakeholders for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities. Participates in squad/team demos, retrospectives, and all other ceremonies.
• Work with the agile working group, clarifying business requirements, removing roadblocks, constantly communicating, and supporting alignment around product strategy.
• Monitor and maintain the product health, supporting long-term product viability and efficiency, and balancing long and short term and costs with?desired outcomes.
• Analyse and reports on feasibility, cost of delay ramifications, economies, or other aspects of planned or potential changes to the product.
• Lead customer-driven design and usability testing for the squad/team. Collaborates on CDD and UT across the portfolio. Ensures a well-positioned product through market & industry analysis.
• Streamline business processes and consolidating data from systems to enhance reporting.
• Analysing exisiting data and technical configurations to improve Data quality as part of the transformation project.

Experience:

• Solid Data Analyst experience having worked on data requirements, data flows and a solid understanding of data lineage
• Experience working in both process changes programmes and new implementations
• Experience of working with agile methodologies
• Business/Product analysis experience and knowledge of business analysis methodologies
• Insurance sector experience
• BPMN or similar business process modelling skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Pricing background beneficial
• Technical background e.g. cloud, data management/ data migration projects, translating business requirements into Data Model with the Enterprise Architect capturing key points from process mapping.
