You will be building relationships with new and existing businesses to sell IT solutions into them, specifically cloud solutions, Internet, lease lines and mobile.
Our client offers a wide variety of IT and telecoms products, supported by an established training program and ongoing professional development. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong background in telesales, desk-based, or internal sales.
You will be working as part of a team, who all work together in Inside Sales, Field Sales and Customer Service. With a career progression pathway to move you into a Business Development Manager.
We are looking for self-driven individuals who consistently exceed sales targets and are eager to progress into a field sales role.
Responsibilities & day to day duties
As a Business Development Executive you will be responsible for:
- Making outbound Calls to B2B customers to achieve your sales targets
- To Complete all Sales Order paperwork within 24 hours with a high level of accuracy
- To keep up to date a full and complete sales ledger tracking your sales
- To Learn and develop your own effective solution selling sales technique to ensure you are selling multi-product solutions.
- To Take ownership of all of your targets and deliver on a consistent basis – reviewed monthly and then quarterly
- At least 12 months experience in a Business Development Executive/ Outbound sales based role
- Worked in a B2B sales based environment
- Must be able to identify, generate and close new business
- Highly pro-active
- Strong relationship building skills
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- Salary of up to £24,000
- Commission and ad hoc incentives. OTE circa £40,000 once up and running
- Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5pm
- 20 Days annual leave Plus bank holidays increases by 1 day per annum until 24.
