VANRATH have partnered with an ambitious Jewellery company that is rapidly expanding their international roots. The organisation is recruiting for a Business Development Executiveposition.
This is a fantastic opportunity for any BD/account management experienced candidate join a longstanding company that offers many routes for progression.
We now require a Business Developer to look after accounts across all three company sectors; high street, international travel retail and online.
This is a vitally important role within our ambitious team at a time when we are experiencing sustained growth. The role will provide an opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic team.
There will be some travel with this role, with some trade events across Ireland (usually twice per year)
Hours
Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm (Office-based)
Salary
£28,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience) + bonus (£35,000 OTE) plus a fantastic benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with our existing customers and external sales agents to promote retention and growth
- Identify and develop new opportunities for our business through new customer development
- Using our business intelligence software identify declining customer sales and work to eliminate customer churn.
- Identify trends among successful customers and look to implement these with other customers
- Be the first port of call for our customers, and be available to answer any queries they may have
- Complete weekly reports as required
- Aid with the development and improvement of our products by gathering feedback to identify recurring issues and addressing these with management
The Ideal Candidate:
- 2-4 years sales experience, experience managing accounts.
- New business generation ideal but not essential.
- the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and to quickly identify problems and recommend solutions;
- strong data analysis skills to spot trends and opportunities for growth
- sound decision-making skills and the ability to plan and prioritise;
- excellent communication skills;
- Self starter, as the role will give a high level autonomy.
