The role:
- Management of a North-West territory across a mix of premium end retailers
- Mixed role which involved selling, merchandising, in-store training, promotional activity across major retailers and smaller independent chains
- Will need to be well organised, structured, good at building long-term relationships
- Accounts are already well established so this is very much account management led with a well established product range
- Able to travel, journey plan and cover the designated area as per the needs of the role.
Ideal candidate:
- Previous experience in a branded non-food area such as housewares or a design-led product area would be beneficial.
- Worked for a brand or luxury business where brand representation is of high importance
- You may come from a retail background such as John Lewis, Lakeland or similar and be looking to move to a supplier but able to utilise your understanding of these accounts
- We would consider a merchandising, product or retail management background
- Could have operated at Business Development Executive level and seeking a new challenge
- The role offers great flexibility, can be on a part-time basis to accommodate this person. Would also consider a full-time person
- Passionate, personable and a great relationship builder
- Need to be sociable, a great communicator and ability to build strong relationships at all levels
- Location wise will need to North-West based - for example Yorkshire, Lancashire or Derbyshire area
