We are currently in partnership with a leading logistics company based in Liverpool, providing a range of services including warehousing, distribution, freight forwarding, and customs clearance. They are looking for a Business Development Executive to join their team and help them grow their client base and revenue.
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the UK and overseas markets
- Developing and delivering effective sales proposals and presentations
- Negotiating contracts and closing deals with clients
- Maintaining and developing existing accounts and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Working closely with the operations team to ensure smooth delivery of services
- Reporting on sales performance and market trends
- Promote new commercial offers
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the logistics industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- A self-motivated and results-oriented attitude
- A strong network of contacts and leads in the logistics sector
- A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel
