We are investing in our Clinical function to manage our ongoing and future studies. We are looking for an accomplished Medical Biostatistician who is comfortable with challenging the status quo in healthcare practices.
Requirements
The roleWe are looking for a motivated BD manager to join our team. The role requires a consultative approach to scaling Skin Analytics’ innovations across the NHS. In the UK, we are the first organisation to have successfully implemented AI in skin cancer pathways, helping the NHS maximise its resources and reduce waiting times.
As part of our BD team, you will also work closely with our Partnerships team and Product Team to share insights to help steer our technology's future development. You will report to our Business Development Director, Rachael, who has been a driving force in our commercial success.
1. Working with potential customers to understand their needs, and to position us for success
2. Managing your territory and staying up to date with the latest news & innovation in UK Healthcare.
3. Proactively building long-lasting relationships with senior stakeholders in the NHS
4. Owning the sales cycle from initial reach out, to contract signature.
5. Helping to develop strategies to leverage local and national conversations around dermatology.
In this role, you will learn how a VC-backed business is growing rapidly and revolutionising the diagnostic pathway for skin cancer.
As a team member, you will have the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge from intelligent colleagues and an inspiring manager. You'll gain insight into what's needed from a commercial perspective to improve skin cancer services for the NHS (and in the future internationally).
If you do well, and when the business grows, this role can take you to various places. After 2 - 3 years you could become a Senior Business Development Manager, or make a move into one of our other teams that interest you.
Non-negotiable:
- Passion and energy to drive change within the NHS
- 4+ years experience with proven ability to sell products or services to the NHS
- A Demonstrated ability to find ways to gain access to key decision-makers, and book follow-up meetings, through fostering client relationships
Needed, but we can further upskill you here:
- Ability to combine research, strategy, and ingenuity in order to roadmap NHS organisations and reach their key decision-makers
- Have experience navigating NHS procurement and central funding sources to secure contracts
- Experience in consultative selling positions

Skin Analytics manufactures medical devices and complies with ISO standards 13485 and 27001. As part of your employment, you will be assigned Quality Management System (QMS) and Information Security Management System (ISMS) training.
