Business Development Manager

Job Title: Business Development Manager(Fire Detection, Sprinklers, Suppression, Security, Voice, Monitoring and Integrated Systems)

Primary Tasks:

• Identify and capitalise on project opportunities across diverse systems.
• Cultivate new client relationships while strengthening existing ones.
• Ensure the creation of precise and appealing proposals and quotations.
• Successfully meet sales targets in terms of volumes and margins.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline through consistent client interaction.
• Conduct surveys at various sites and prepare estimates for maintenance.
• Manage incoming inquiries and develop maintenance proposals effectively.
• Create and finalise contracts through professional quotations.
• Provide monthly reports with accurate forecasting details.
• Maintain data integrity by regularly updating databases.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proficiency in essential PC applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong proficiency in written and oral communication, as well as numerical skills.
• Display exceptional telephone etiquette.
• Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.

Key Competencies:

• Completion of FIA (or equivalent) training in fire detection and alarm systems.
• Previous experience or training in sales.
• 2-5 years of experience in customer-facing or technical roles within the fire and security industry.
• Knowledge of fire detection systems and associated technologies.
