Job Title:Business Development Manager
Geography: National - UK wide
Package details: £50-55k basic plus approx £45k OTE (uncapped) plus £4.5k car allowance
Working for a leading Managed Service Provider to the NHS, the role of Business Development Manager is a critical role. You will be required to identify and develop new Managed Service Contract opportunities with new and existing NHS customers.
The main duties of the Business Development Manager role are:
- Promote the business to new customers and prospects to achieve the agreed targets for Business Development and new business.
- Promotion of new products and services to prospects and existing customers.
- To nurture relationships with business partner staff to encourage support for new business and to be their first choice with partner led engagement.
- Increase revenue and margin in line with agreed targets.
- Assist the Head of Sales in the preparation of forecasts and targets for new customers and for new solutions with existing customers.
- Prepare and keep updated on the CRM system, revenue, and profit forecasts, providing the supporting evidence to underpin annual client spend, business budgets, and objectives.
- Collate and review all required service contract documentation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalations having oversight, and managing the implementations team, during the onboarding of new Managed Service Contracts.
- Provide ongoing support to Account Managers as required.
- Liaise and communicate effectively with customers, prospects, external stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Advise the senior management team on competitor activity, updating the CRM as appropriate.
- Respond to all queries raised by stakeholders, ensuring that issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
This role would benefit from someone having experience of working within or for the NHS with a good understanding of Managed Service Contracts
This is a field based role with requirements of attending the office based in Manchester 1 or 2 times per month.
