Business Development Manager – Newark - £30,000 - £40,000 + OTE
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading organisation as they look to recruit a Business Development Manager due to continued success and sustained growth.
This is a unique opportunity to shape and grow the sales function from the ground up. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new sales, targeting key products, and securing lucrative contracts.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced professional with a proven track record in sales.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
• Identify and target new business opportunities within the metal fabrication market
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities
• Lead contract negotiations and secure new business agreements
• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure proposals meet client specifications and requirements
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target companies
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build brand awareness and generate leads
• Regularly report on sales activities, progress, and performance metrics to the Managing Director/CEO
Essential Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience in sales within the steel fabrication or similar industry
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Highly motivated, self-starter with a passion for sales and Business Development
• Ability to work independently
• Strong organisational and time management skills
