If so, we're recruiting for a fabulous KBB manufacturer, who need a Business Development Manager to grow and develop further their contractor division. This is a National role, with the preferred candidate living in the North or North West of England. THE ROLE:
- This is an exciting role, inheriting a good database of House Builder and developer contacts across the country.
- As Business Development Manager, you will inherit a multi-million pounds of potential and specified projects on your ledger.
- You'll be selling a broad range of medium to high end bathroom and sanitary-ware products, such as baths, showers, brassware, heating, accessories, towel rails, mirrors, cabinets etc.
- As Business Development Manager, you will build relationships with architects, specifiers, interior designers, House Builders, Property developers, M&E contractors and installers.
- You will work in tandem with the distribution led team and will back-sell via Bathroom showrooms, bathroom boutiques, builders merchants, stockists and distributors.
- Our client is innovative, so you'll be introducing new product lines on a fairly regular basis.
- You will inherit a strong database of contacts & you will also be tasked in identifying potential new customers.
- This is a national role, which will involve overnight stays on occasion.
- You will also on occasion represent the company at networking events, exhibitions and conferences.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
- The successful Business Development Manager will ideally have a track record of sales success in the KBB sector, although good sales experience with Contractors/ House Builders and Developers is the most important thing, as our client offers excellent product training and support.
- You will be a great relationship builder, a consultative seller, able to promote quality design led products with confidence.
- You will be IT literate, goal driven, looking for a long term career, with good stability and progression to date.
- You will be articulate, smart in appearance, who will be a great ambassador for the brand. A real people person, who cares about the customer.
- You will be happy to cover a National territory and can be located anywhere with a preference being the Midlands or North of England.
- You will ideally be located close to the motorway networks.
THE COMPANY:
- Our client sell in the medium to high end market and have a multi million pounds turnover.
- They are well established with an exciting 5 year vision, so this is a fantastic time to be joining the business.
THE REMUNERATION:
- £40,000- £47,000 Basic salary, dependent on experience.
- Monthly commission and quarterly bonus, giving on target earnings of circa £15k- £18k+
- Good range of company cars, including electric/hybrid, or £550 per month car allowance.
- 23 days holidays, plus your Birthday off and 8 bank holidays. Company incentives to earn extra days salary which can be used to buy additional holiday.
- 3% employer pension contribution, 5% employee.
