Are you an accomplished and forward-thinking Business Development Manager looking to make a significant impact? We have a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Blakedale sales team!
As a key member of our close-knit sales team, your mission is to foster and enhance relationships with our valued clientele, positioning Blakedale as their first choice for Specialist vehicles.
Day to day you will:
- Grow our fleet offering, utilising your extensive knowledge of our products and services to ensure customer enquiries can be dealt with accurately and appropriately.
- Continuously identify additional revenue opportunities with additional products and services.
- Represent us as the key customer interface in your nominated accounts and influence decision makers at all levels.
- Monitor service level delivery against our agreed SLA’s, identify areas for improvement and agree action plans with the Sales Director.
- Proactively provide our customers with appropriate management information.

Salary - Up to £45,000 per annum based on experience, enhanced by a generous performance related bonus and company car/car allowance

About You
- Firstly, you will have prior experience in an Account Management/ Business Development role within the Vehicle/ Fleet industry.
- You have a resourceful and tenacious approach to building your customer base.
- You understand that one size does not fit all - you can develop personalised, multi-product/service offerings including preparing proposal and implementation documentation to deliver the perfect solution to your clients.
- You take pride in being an ambassador for your brand - as a Business Development Manager; you are a credible and assured networker able to build effective and profitable relationships with key stakeholders.
