Job Title: Business Development/ Bid Writer
Location: Salford Quays, Manchester M50
Salary: Starting at £50,000 to 60,000 per annum DOE
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive/Bid Writer to join our team on a permanent, full time basis based in Manchester. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will also be required to bid and write tenders affiliated to our sector.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE HEALTHCARE SECTOR IS ESSENTIAL
We supply Care Homes, Supported Living and Outreach services with Healthcare professionals all over the UK on a temporary and/or permanent basis.
The key responsibilities will include:
- Work with the management and Business Development teams to identify viable bidding opportunities in line with strategic goals, and manage the opportunity tracking process.
- Manage multiple concurrent complex bids and tenders as part of a coherent programme and plan the forward course of bids.
- Deliver professionally written proposal responses that clearly articulate our value proposition by: preparing submissions - taking responsibility for completion of the submission while getting support from within the organisation for specific tasks / areas of the submission as appropriate
- Produce quality/technical documentation, in accordance with the client's requirements, and to a standard which results in as high a quality evaluation mark as possible.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- Experienced in producing high quality written and graphical sales/tender documentation
- Experience with Business Development, obtaining new clients and account managing them to a high standard.
- Have the ability to work to tight deadlines, responding to urgent needs with composure and efficiency
- Advanced experience of using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Both motivated and enthusiastic, with professional appearance and manner
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage own workload.
