A leading manufacturer of building materials, this company has been providing high-quality products for over 30 years. With offices across the UK and Ireland, they serve customers across multiple industries, including construction, manufacturing and retail.

Responsibilities within your new role

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through projects and contracts. You will also be required to inspect sites for general fixings and tools as well as EWI (External Wall Insulation). The main focus of this position is fixings sales, with a secondary focus on power tools/accessories.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We are eager to speak to candidates who can demonstrate strong customer relationships and negotiation skills, site knowledge and knowledge of how sub-contractors and main contractors work on building sites. Resilience under pressure is essential for this role, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. A proven successful track record in construction-related sales and technical competence in building materials and systems applications is also necessary for this role.
