Job Description
Due to a brilliant 2023 and continued growth plans, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. You will be responsible for promoting and selling our premium Powerchair to healthcare institutions, rehabilitation centres, individual customers, and any other potential clients you identify. Your primary goal is to meet and exceed sales targets while providing exceptional customer service and fostering lasting relationships.
This role entails frequent overnight travel throughout the UK, so a clean valid driver’s license is essential.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Relationship Management
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
- Follow up and qualify inbound leads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, rehabilitation centres, and individual customers.
- Travel to prospects homes and businesses and provide product demonstrations.
Product Knowledge
- Develop a deep understanding of our products and stay informed about industry trends.
- Keep up-to-date with competitor products to effectively differentiate and position our offerings in the market.
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with the wider team to share insights and co-ordinate efforts for maximum market penetration.
Customer Service
- Provide excellent pre and post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Address customer enquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain a positive customer experience.
What we are looking for:
Must have:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the healthcare or medical equipment industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- A consultative and empathetic manner.
- Technical experience for setting up customer chairs on delivery and/or fault resolution.
Preferred but not essential:
- Knowledge of wheelchair products and assistive technology.
