Impression Recruitment are delighted to be representing a real gem of a business in Wetherby, assisting them in their search for a Business Development Manager on a full time permanent basis. Our client was founded with the idea of making a real impact in their industry, breaking boundaries and changing the norms to provide effective solutions across their market. They pride themselves on their record of providing trustworthy services whilst hitting high revenue targets and are now looking for a dedicated business development professional to join their sales progression team. You will take the lead on progressing existing and warm leads through the full sales cycle until completion. You will need to generate initial interest in the product, selling the benefits of the tailored solutions you provide, and ensuring that maximum profit levels are achieved in the sales you complete. You will ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained as well as general sales activities such as dealing with quotations, managing client sales enquires, and dealing with any sales issues that arise. Industry specific experience is not required for this role, so if you are a high achieving Business Development Manager, Sales Executive or Account Manager, with a drive to achieve more, then keep reading!
Key Responsibilities as Business Development Manager:
* Contacting warm leads through various communication methods to establish initial conversation.
* Making a high volume of calls per day to leads on the internal database.
* Qualifying leads accurately whilst completing internal sales checks/data procedures.
* Establish quick rapport with potential customers, building strong relations throughout the sales process by maintaining consistent contact.
* Re-visit and follow up with older leaders to win business.
* Deal with incoming sales enquiries when required.
* Conduct general sales and market research.
* Maintain contact with external parties involved in the sales process.
* Arrange visits and appointments with sales prospects.
* Managing client data on internal systems.
* Ensure you are working in line industry standards.
* Review and cleansing of key sales data.
* Where possible, upsell and refer other aspects of the business.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Strong track record of achievement in sales roles.
* Quality communication skills with the ability to build instant rapport.
* Quality organisation skills.
* Able to deal with rejections and overcome sales blockers.
* PC literate.
* Proactive approach to sales.
In return the successful candidate will receive a basic salary of between £25,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience, with on target earnings of £60,000 - £70,000 OTE! You will also have access to some great benefits, including an onsite gym and games areas! This role is working Monday to Thursday 8:30 - 5:30pm and Friday 9am to 5pm.
