£40,000 - £50,000 (£60,000 - £70,000 OTE) + Commission + Car Allowance + Company Benefits

Are you a Business Development Manager with experience ocean freight forwarding and customs clearance sectors, looking to work for an ambitious company that you will be able to make a real impact on the progression and growth off?

In this role the successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining the existing customer base, actively sourcing new business and helping to develop other business activities within the company with the objective of increasing revenue and improving profitability.

This role would suit someone with sales experience in the Ocean Freight Forwarding sector and an excellent knowledge of the UK ocean freight market.

The Role:

• Develop and grow existing customer accounts by ensuring all business opportunities have been explored.
n
• Making regular contact with existing customers, taking ownership and developing the business relationship while ensuring they are receiving the high level of service expected.

The Person:

• Proven successful Business Development/sales account management experience in the UK
n
• Highly motivated, personable, professional and able to cultivate long-term business relationships
n
