About Our Client
Our client is an ambitious start-up who, through providing a new and unique SaaS solution, are looking to revolutionise the way Scrap Metal gets recycled throughout the UK. Currently at early stages, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic BDM to be a first-on-the-ground sales person to help the company devise and implement a sales and overall GTM strategy.
Job Description
As the Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Own the entire sales cycle - from lead gen to close
- Negotiate and close agreements with customers of all sizes
- Manage relationships with existing clients
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients' needs
- Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
The Successful Applicant
A successful Business Development Manager should have:
- A proven track record of success in sales
- Experience selling a SaaS solution
- Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- A customer-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
