Position overview
We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with accounting firms, and driving the growth of our SaaS solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B SaaS sales and Business Development. If you think this describes you, you could be just who we’re looking for.
Key responsibilities
- Market research and analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industry trends. Analyse competitive landscape to position our solutions effectively.
- Lead generation ad qualification: Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and social media.
- Client engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers in accounting firms. Understand their needs and pain points to present tailored solutions.
- Sales presentations & demonstrations: Conduct compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of our SaaS platform.
- Negotiation and closing: Negotiate contract terms and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets. Ensure all sales activities are aligned with company policies and procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer success teams to align strategies and ensure a seamless client onboarding experience.
- Reporting and analysis: Track and report on sales performance metrics, market feedback, and competitive activities. Provide regular updates to senior management on Business Development initiatives.
- Continuous improvement: Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices. Continuously seek opportunities to improve sales strategies and processes.
About you
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Business Development, sales, or account management, preferably within the SaaS or accounting industries.
- Skills:
- Driven to exceed sales targets
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and
- key decision-makers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software (preferably Hubspot) and other sales tools.

- £50,000 base salary with OTE £76,000+
