Business Development Manager - Derby - 40/50k + comms + car
ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager with immediate effect, for our global leading client based in Derby.
Business Development Manager - Reporting to the Group Sales Lead, this role will the first point of contact for new rental, event and hire clients.
Key Accountabilities:
- Negotiating with prospective new sales
- Helping establish pricing schedules for quotes, and negotiations.
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports and forecast.
- Prospecting in the market using online tools and your own network.
- Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
- Preparing and submitting sales quotes for orders.
- Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
- Maintaining client records.
- Maintaining and developing the pipeline opportunity.
- Tasks will include prospecting for new business to develop relationships with key decision-makers, understand and respond to customer needs, track and report on account activity.
- Lead generation expertise to include the ability to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including prospect lists, discovery and individual research.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in solutions sales or telecommunications industry as a BDM is required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated by ability to form long term customer relationships.
- Strong writing skills and high level of aptitude and attention to detail in responding to tenders.
