About the Role:

Ready to make a significant impact? Step into this exciting role focused on new Business Development, engaging in door-to-door direct sales and upselling to existing customers. You'll also manage accounts following contract signings. After completing a bespoke training program, you’ll be set to achieve quarterly targets based on annualized revenue from contracts signed. Join this team and help shape a sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in door-to-door canvassing and business-to-business sales, always showcasing their services professionally and highlighting their unique features and benefits.
  • Upsell innovative waste and recycling solutions to their existing customers.
  • Conduct client site risk assessments and site audits to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Handle all inbound inquiries assigned to you, providing excellent customer service.
  • Pre-qualify opportunities to ensure they meet ‘business fit’ and pass credit checks.
  • Stay ahead of market and competitor activities, providing insightful reports.
  • Collect accurate prospect information, keeping the CRM updated daily with the help of the sales support team.
  • Network and showcase our services at regional events, attracting potential prospects.
  • Complete weekly KPI sheets to track and measure your success.
  • Participate actively in fortnightly/monthly sales meetings, sharing insights and strategies.
  • Book appointments with key management personnel at target organisations to present their compelling propositions.
  • Cross-sell additional services, including shredding, hazardous waste management, and national services.
  • Manage your diary effectively, prioritizing tasks to maximize efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to helpdesk queries within 24 hours.
  • Assist the Administration and Service Team in implementing new services.
  • Take on any other duties as reasonably requested by your Line Manager.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in B2B.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Self-motivated and willing to travel as required
  • Full Clean UK Driving License
