Hours - Monday to Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; Friday 7:30am - 1:00pm

Are you looking for a new opportunity to drive Business Development within a successful, 5-Star company based in Huddersfield?
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and explore new market opportunities. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in engaging existing sectors, forging new market connections, and contributing to our client's strategic growth plan. This is a unique chance to join a close-knit team and make a substantial impact on the company's expansion.
Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities nationally, with a focus on specific sectors/target markets.
- Build and nurture client relationships, engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Create and execute strategic growth plans in collaboration with the CEO and Sales Manager.
- Use LinkedIn and other tools to expand outreach; Salesforce CRM experience is advantageous.
- Manage KPIs centred around phone calls, site visits, and quotes.
- Embrace remote working with occasional travel to different regions, including Scotland, Wales, Northern and Southern Ireland and London boroughs.
Key requirements of the Business Development Manager:
- Proven track record in Business Development, preferably within manufacturing or engineering.
- Fantastic written and oral communication skills.
- Data driven.
- Confident, strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building skills.
- LinkedIn proficiency or willingness to learn.
- Strong analytic and numerical skills.
- Salesforce CRM experience is advantageous.
- Full UK driving license required.
- Qualifications at Degree level or greater.
