Business Development Representative (North UK)

Our client, a leading haircare brand, is seeking a talented Business Development Representative to join their team covering the North (including Scotland). This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in the professional hairdressing industry.

The Role: The Business Development Representative will play a key role in attracting new permanent colour customers by acquiring salons and independent hairdressers. Working closely with Preferred Partners, the successful candidate will drive sales while ensuring effective onboarding education for salons and facilitating training opportunities across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Education, and Sales teams to develop and execute customer plans
  • Ensure top-notch retail merchandising of products in-store
  • Maintain detailed reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Support marketing initiatives and promotional plans within the Wholesale sector
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key personnel and build a robust digital presence for the brand
  • Meet and exceed set KPIs across commercial and educational domains
  • Provide technical training to Preferred Partner sales teams during commercial meetings

Requirements:

  • Commercial aptitude, with a deep passion for the professional hairdressing industry
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Previous experience in field-based sales roles
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Self-motivated with a drive to succeed
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on education and growth
  • Proficiency in digital platforms, particularly Instagram
  • Effective communicator at all levels of business
  • Solution-oriented with a proactive approach to challenges
  • Valid UK driving license

Competitive salary up to £37,000 (Negotiable based on experience)
