Business Engagement Coordinator
Duration: 3-6 months
Location: London, SE13
Hours: Full time 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Working pattern: Hybrid – 3 days on site, 2 remote
Salary: £27k

We are delighted to be working with a wonderful community organisation based in Lewisham to recruit a Business Engagement Coordinator on a temporary basis, initially for 3-6 months but with the potential to extend.
About the role:
Reporting to the Local Giving Programme Manager, you will proactively develop relationships with local businesses to engage with the organisation’s giving projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Engage local businesses both in-person across Lewisham’s high streets and remotely, encouraging them to sign up to ‘give back’ through their projects
- Logging engagements with businesses on CRM system
- Developing marketing resources to promote the projects and the engagement of the businesses
- Networking and attending events with local businesses to promote their work
- Mapping and building directories of different types of businesses, including local food suppliers, keeping information and data up to date
- Identify and develop giving opportunities between local businesses and community organisations
- Recruit and manage volunteers to assist the work where necessary
About you:
We’re looking for a confident business developer, preferably with experience in a similar role. You will have strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills and be able to work on your own initiative, managing and prioritizing your own workload. You will be an excellent communicator, able to develop and nurture collaborations and effective working relationships.
