Main duties of the job
The role of the Business Manager is to provide a comprehensive, high quality and confidential Business Management to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and the office of the Medical Directorate, including Deputy Chief Medical Officer and Medial Directors.
The Business Manager will oversee the work of the Medical Directorate on behalf of the Chief Medical Officer.
The post holder will be responsible for the provision of an efficient and effective service that enables their Executive Board member (the CMO) in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care and meeting the objectives of the directorate and wider organisation.
The post holder will need to acquire and utilise a wide, in-depth knowledge of their directorate priorities and work with senior leaders to achieve the delivery of multi-agency priorities, working with a range of internal and external stakeholders as necessary.
