The Role
You will work within the commercial area, providing support and analysis, being a trusted advisor and adding value that will assist in decision making. You will be responsible for the month end preparation of results and provide variance analysis against budget and forecast to stakeholders. This business area seeks to operate like any commercial business; you will continuously seek to challenge the status quo, identifying ways to improve performance.
The Successful Candidate
- Fully qualified accountant with technical accounting, financial, regulatory experience
- A seasoned Finance Business Partner, with experience working in a commercial environment partnering with sales teams essential
- Experience working within events/training/advertising/subscription-based income models/membership bodies essential
- Experienced in reporting revenues and understanding all the related cost drivers
- Solid understanding of financial modelling including investment appraisal analysis for business cases
- Confident working with Directors and senior staff
- £65k-£70k salary
