An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Services Assistant (Night Security) within the Business Services Team currently based at Kent Police College, Maidstone. This is offered as 32 hours a week, evenings, nights and weekends on a rotating shift pattern.
The purpose of the role is to maintain security of the Kent Police College site outside of daytime working hours, managing access, resolving minor problems and reporting larger issues onwards.
Additionally, you will be the welcome face of Kent Police Reception when booking guests into the accommodation block. Completing a registration system, issuing keys, allocating parking permits and giving a full brief on health & safety in the college to ensure our guests feel safe, looked after and ready to enjoy their learning experience.
The successful candidate will be able to provide evidence of the following:
Experience in reception/security duties
Good organisational skills
Good customer service skills
Confident as a lone worker
You must be self-motivated with a flexible approach, and able/willing to work without supervision.
A general awareness of Health & Safety legislation and GDPR would be desirable, however training will be given.
Finally, previous experience of using a computer software packages including Microsoft products and email is required.

Kent Police offer incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary for this position will rise to a maximum of £23,646.00.
