Position: Business Studies and Economics Teacher

Pay: £925-£1225 per week

As a Business Studies and Economics Teacher, you will play a crucial role in inspiring and empowering students to achieve their full potential in these subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Business Studies and Economics to students at Key Stages 4 and 5, ensuring coverage of the curriculum and fostering a deep understanding of key concepts.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of students, promoting active participation and critical thinking.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback and support to facilitate their academic growth.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and encouraged to excel.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that enhance the learning experience and promote real-world application of business and economic principles.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and teaching experience in Business Studies and Economics, with a proven track record of delivering excellent results.
- Passion for education and a commitment to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the overall success and ethos of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
