Business Systems Specialist (Finance)

What you will be working on:
This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding Business Systems team and provide key supportacross the finance and ERP applications. You will work closely with the wider finance team to ensurefunctionality and performance of the new system (Oracle fusion ERP) ismaintained. You will provide technicalsupport and take the lead on resolving workflow issues and advising on changes,outages or upgrades.
This is a new systemto the organisation and the role therefore offers the chance to help shape howthis service is delivered and ensure it\'s ongoing success.
Who you will be joining:
You will be joining alarge public sector organisation based in Edinburgh. They impact the lives of many thousands andemploy more than 3000 staff members.
There has beensignificant investment in recent years across a number of enterpriseapplications including finance , procurement and HR. The new Business Systems Team will focus onensuring the successful adoption of these applications and that there isongoing expertise in place to support continued return on investment.
What you will need:
You will have ideallyworked in roles supporting large business applications, especially financialsystems. As such, you will have anunderstanding of financial processes and accounting workflows. You will have excellent communication skillsand be comfortable dealing with the wider finance team when discussing issuesor delivering information and training.
