What we’re looking for:
Have you got an excellent telephone manner with keen commercial awareness and the ability to build strong client relationships? Do you enjoy following set processes, but also know when to use your own initiative? Are you a quick learner with an exceptional eye for detail and an energetic, positive and enthusiastic approach?
We’re looking for a new team member to deliver a fantastic hotel and travel booking service to our clients. This includes accommodation, low-cost airline bookings, rail, car hire and ancillary services. If the above sounds like a great fit for you, we’d love to hear from you.
A genuine interest in the travel and hospitality industries is a must. Previous experience in hospitality or an agency is preferred but not essential. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of MS Office and the ability to learn our proprietary software quickly. Sabre trained? That’s a bonus, but not a necessity. The most important thing we’re looking for is a strong team player with a willingness to learn and provide excellent customer service to our clients.
Main duties and responsibilities
Locating the most suitable hotel and confirming the reservations with the client/hotel as per their requirement
Sourcing and booking low-cost flights for clients ensuring the details are entered into Sabre and EZI and charged/confirmed as per the client’s contract
Producing itineraries for Travellers using the Inntel bespoke itinerary system
Any other office support tasks as required
Hours of work:
Hours of work will be 40 hours a week Sunday to Thursday
Sunday – 09:30-18:00 – 8 hour shift plus 30 minute unpaid lunch break
Monday – Thursday – 8 hour shift plus 30 minute unpaid lunch break each day between the hours of 14:00-00:30, as per department rota.
The initial training period, which is anticipated to be between 3-6 months depending on experience, will be fully office based Monday-Friday 09.00-17.30
Once the training period is completed, this will be a home based role.
