Business Unit Manager - Multiple Sclerosis

The purpose of this position is to lead the MS Business Unit as the company is launching its first MS product. You will be involved in the recruitment process for your team, have full P&L responsibility, control of the sales and marketing department, and be apart of the product launch from scratch, meaning you can lead the tactics and directions for the launch.

Responsibilities:

• Assume full profit and loss responsibility for the Multiple Sclerosis Business Unit, driving revenue growth and achieving financial targets.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to expand market share, increase product adoption, and maximize profitability within the multiple sclerosis therapeutic area.
• Lead and mentor a team of 8 sales and marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure high performance and achievement of objectives.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics within the multiple sclerosis landscape to inform business strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, and other relevant stakeholders to enhance brand awareness and drive advocacy.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on multiple sclerosis or related therapeutic areas.
• Degree in a relevant field
• Strong understanding of the multiple sclerosis market landscape, including disease pathology, treatment modalities, and competitive dynamics.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business priorities and challenges.
