Corporate Finance Business Partner acts as the interface between the business function and technology organizations. They will be responsible for proactively collecting the function’s requirements, identifying service opportunities and directing internal and 3rd party technology resources in satisfying internal function’s needs.
As a Functional Technology Business Partner, you will:
- Understand the business strategy, goals and objectives of the function and align them with the technology strategy and roadmap. Network and gain industry knowledge, including an ‘over the horizon’ view.
- Collaborate with the function leaders and stakeholders to identify, prioritize and document the business needs and requirements.
- Explore and combine industry trends and best practices, to proactively provide constructive suggestions and solutions for business requirements. Translate the business needs and requirements into clear and concise specifications for the technology teams.
- Manage the delivery of technology solutions and services for the function, ensuring they meet the quality, scope, budget and timeline expectations.
- Lead the Technology workstream in important functional projects and programmes, including organizing various project meetings, monitoring the project execution process, discovering and resolving major risk points, and controlling changes in requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance and satisfaction of the technology solutions and services for the function, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
- Communicate effectively with the business and technology teams, ensuring alignment, transparency and trust.
- Manage the relationship with the 3rd party technology vendors and partners, ensuring compliance, quality and value.
Experience and Skills
- A bachelor's degree in business, technology or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, working as a liaison between business and technology teams
- Strong business learning and analysis ability, sense of responsibility, logical thinking, curiosity and self-learning ability for new technologies; foundational knowledge of the function domain (Finance) and its processes, systems and data.
- Strong motivation and influence skills to build common ground between IT and business, communicate effectively with various technical or non-technical personnel, and align the best solutions and implement them through informal leadership ability, breaking down silos and shift opinions using influence.
- Systematic problem-solving approach with the ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and progress in high ambiguity and uncertainty areas. Skilled at conflict negotiation and achieving alignment.
- A customer-centric and service-oriented mindset combined with strong stress resistance, able to adapt to multi-tasking, demanding, flexible and professional work environment. Exude energy, focus, assertiveness, and diplomacy.

Pay: £600.00-£700.00 per day
