SalarySheridan Maine is partnering an exceptional organisation in the Hospitality industry to recruit a Business/Finance Analyst. Renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation, our client is seeking a talented Business/Finance Analyst to join their team.
Responsibilities of the Business/Finance Analyst include but not limited to:
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Finance and CFO to ensure timely consolidation of accurate and relevant management information reports throughout the organisation, aligning them with business KPIs and objectives for review.
- Foster the development and mentorship of Support Team managers, enhancing data analysis capabilities and confidence across the team.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of site-specific trends to inform consolidated monthly financial results presented in board meetings.
- Prepare and analyse monthly KPIs, ensuring alignment with the commercial plan and identifying opportunities for performance enhancement while comprehending and addressing variations from the plan.
- Gather, cleanse, and input UK and International turnover data into a database for comprehensive analysis and reporting purposes.
- Provide insightful analysis to support the achievement of strategic objectives and deliver the annual budget.
- Assist in group projects and scenario modelling endeavours, contributing valuable insights and support.
- Participate in business automation endeavours and provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with data regulations and facilitate timely and accurate provision of data for FCA returns and regulatory reviews.
The successful Business/Finance Analyst will require the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- A proactive mindset.
- Strong stakeholder liaison skills.
- Advanced modelling skills, Excel VBA and macros.
