You will define and implement comprehensive strategies for the optimisation of Buying Models and Rebate income to deliver commercial benefit as well as product availability.
You will work in collaboration with the AAH Team, including sales, pricing, and operational teams to drive Generics category and market share growth.
Challenge existing suppliers to upgrade their capabilities. Seek out future potential supply partners who can add commercial value to our Generics range. Negotiate supply agreements with all vendors.
- Working as part of the Generics Category team within the AAH Commercial Team, the Generics Buyer will work to proactively expand and grow the Supplier baskets.
- The Generics Buyer will be responsible for day-to-day supplier relationship management and terms negotiations for Generic products, whilst optimising net working capital and service levels.
- Working cross functionally and communicating with all key stakeholders within AAH to ensure all Category performance targets are met.
- They will independently drive continuous process improvement with respect to how we manage the portfolio and suppliers.
- They will collate product specific market intel with a keen focus on market dynamics and interpret how our business will be impacted by changes in the industry.
- Deliver cost reduction and availability improvements through effective negotiation, contract design and oversight, relationship management and operations optimization.
