Description

- Develop and deliver category plans that align with commercial strategy and financial objectives.

- Collaborate with marketing team to design and execute relevant promotion plans.

- Comply with legislation and brand guidelines, communicate effectively with customers to drive sales.

- Work with marketing and online teams to improve brand awareness and customer engagement.

- Review promotions, take appropriate action, and share best practices with peers and stakeholders.

- Partner with merchandising team to agree on effective strategy for the right range in the right store.

- Identify and implement new product opportunities that meet customer needs, drive sales and profitability.

- Manage and review pricing to drive profitability, remain competitive.

- Collaborate with supply chain team to maintain in-store availability to meet customer demands.

- Develop effective internal and external relationships, employ appropriate negotiation strategies.

- Continuously develop expert knowledge in category products, competitors, and market activity.

- Manage and deliver projects as required.

Profile

To be a successful 'Buyer - Wellness and Personal Care', you should have the following qualifications and experience:

- A degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

- Previous experience working as a Buyer with a fast-paced FMCG retail brand.

- In-depth knowledge of the retail/consumer market.

- Exceptional negotiation skills and commercial awareness in a similar Buying role.

- Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends and sales data.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Proactive approach to sourcing and developing new products.

- Understanding of retail merchandising and marketing principles.
