This fantastic company provide procurement, supply and logistical services & products to the international mining, engineering, energy and construction industries and due to rapid growth they are now looking to add a Buyer / Technical sales Engineer to their permanent team.

In this role you will be using your technical and sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products to support client requirements in the mining, Oil & Gas, Marine and Renewables Sectors. You will provide clients with quotes and tender bids after negotiating with suppliers from a technical and commercial perspective.

This role would suit someone with a Technical sales background looking for the next exciting step in their career with a great company who can offer career progression & fantastic commission of up to 1500 per month, on top of your basic salary!

The role:

• Develop relationships with clients and suppliers
• Analyze client requests & provide technical support to customers & suppliers
• Analyze and challenge supplier quotes
• Negotiate supplier contract terms
• Meet sales targets
• Liaise with all departments; sales, accounts, warehouse, management

The person:

• Previous sales experience ( Engineering/ Special purpose Machinery / equipment / Technical sales)
• Technical background
• Target driven
• Great customer service & communication skills
