Gi Pro are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to join a leading independent material lifting equipment company.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a reputable family run business who have been operating in the lifting equipment industry for over 40 years. The ideal candidate will have Lifting equipment experience within modernisation, major repairs, or new equipment.
The Role:
As an experienced Sales Engineer, you will be required to:
- Manage communications with clients in relation to all sales requirements.
- Client account management liaising with clients to ensure their needs are fulfilled, including pre and after sales support, to maintain positive ongoing relationships.
- Partnering with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the lifting equipment sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and proposing tailored solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to customers, ensuring they make informed decisions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities of our lifting equipment.
- Follow up on all new Sales leads in a timely manner.
The Person:
To be considered for the position of Sales Engineer it is expected that you will have:
- Sound knowledge of lifting equipment, from loose accessories through to jib and light crane systems, being proficient in identifying the correct solution(s) for the clients' requirements and able to communicate accurately with our sales team and suppliers.
- Working knowledge of Windows based Microsoft products, such as Word, Excel etc. and must be organised and able to follow projects through to completion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills being able to communicate clearly and accurately with clients.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
