Technical Sales & Service Engineer - Pumps & Process Equipment.

We ae recruiting for a Technical Sales & Service Engineer for a local leading supplier of industrial pumps, process equipment and packaging systems.

Responsibilities Include:

• To promote the sales of all types of industrial pumps, process equipment and package systems to customer specifications and requirements.
• Knowledge of the following pump types, Centrifugal, Gear, AODD, Magnetic Drive, Piston/Plunger Metering, Rotary Lobe, Drum, Peristaltic, Progressive Cavity etc
• Research new opportunities and maximize client potential in the UK and globally
• Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their pump & process equipment requirements
• To provide pre-sales technical assistance and product advice
• Work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required
• Arrange and carry out pump and process equipment maintenance, both in-house and offsite
• Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts within the group
• Deliver on sales targets and coordinate sales projects
• Contribute as a member of the sales and service team to meet the daily requirements of the business
• Required Skills & Qualifications
• Suitable engineering / technical qualification or appropriate mechanical/electrical background
• Minimum of 5 years' experience within the industrial pump and process equipment industry in an engineering sales capacity.
• Self-motivated and possessing sound analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organisational skills, judgement and business sense
• Ability to build relationships quickly and effectively, and to promote trust and confidence
• Flexible with their work approach - this role is 50% office based and 50% workshop/field based. You will be part of a busy engineering team
• Excellent understanding of all health, safety and environmental requirements

• This is a varied and challenging role for a technically and commercially competent Sales & Service Engineer.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent. Mon to Fri 08.00 hrs to 17.00 hrs. (1 hour lunch)

Salary Offered: Negotiable £35,000 - £40,000, depending on experience
